Colorado- 1st update

Well, we survived the 2 hour trip here. I am NOT a fan of flying. In fact, I'm pretty sure I should have taken some sort of sedative (or something stronger). I think I left death grip marks on the arm rests. Haylee did really good. She didn't like the turbulance though. She grabbed me and said "I doesn't like the bumps." Kaycee fell asleep for the last 30 minutes of the flight. I woke her up right as we touched down.

We spent the first few days getting all the excitement out of the girls' systems. They were so excited and so thrilled to be getting undivided attention.

On Thursday, grandma took the girls to the sprinkler park in Loveland. They had a blast. Kaycee got kind of sick from spinning round and round on the little chair, but other than that, it was fun!

That evening, we packed a picnic and went to Boardwalk park for a free jazz concert. The girls had a great time dancing around and playing in the sand by the lake.

Friday night, dad and mom had some longtime friends stop by for dinner. They stayed overnight and then headed onto Montana. It was fun to visit and catch up! It hailed that evening. Kaycee CLAIMS she's never seen hail, so she was very excited. They danced around completly obliovious to being pelted by the hail.

So, we've had a busy, but fun first week. We'll update our blog again at the end of next week.
